GAMIFICATION

Alfonso Gonzalez is an educator who gamified his science lessons by using Star Trek theme. 

Giving students the opportunity to obtain badges and awards along his learning process not only motivates them but also let them learn in a fun way.

Gamification does not mean that our lessons are not serious, it is an enjoyable manner to have students hooked on what they learn and develops their tenacity, too.

I have to say that see how he transformed his syllabus into a Star Trek adventure was really impressive because it is a huge challenge to adapt the whole curriculum but great teachers do great things and then is when we can inspire students to learn more by themselves. So, BRAVO for Mr. G!
